- The red-haired monster featured on the Last Turn card is Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi, and he is fighting Yamata Dragon. Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi is winning the battle, because it has greater ATK points, however, it could be draw due to the fact that Yamata Dragon's DEF is greater than Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi's ATK. Although this is impossible, because neither Monster can be Special Summoned.
- This might be a reference to the sculpture "Laocoön and His Sons", which depicts the Trojan priest Laocoön fighting a sea serpent.
- This card is the cover card for Legacy of Darkness.
- This is one of the three cover cards that are not monsters, the other ones are Deck Devastation Virus that is featured on Flaming Eternity and Mask of Restrict that is featured on Labyrinth of Nightmare.
- A possible reason Yamata Dragon and Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi are fighting on this card could be because they have opposite effects. Yamata Dragon makes you draw until you have the maximum amount of cards you can hold without discard (after it returns to your hand), while Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi makes your opponent discard all cards in their hand. Another possible opposite is that Yamata Dragon has 200 less ATK and 200 more DEF while Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi has 200 more ATK and 200 less DEF
- This is the first of two cards that can force a DRAW (the other is Self-Destruct Button).
