Card Trivia:Lazion, the Timelord
- The card appears to be named after Raziel, an archangel found in the Kabbalah of Judaism. It is said that he attempted to guide Adam and Eve back to the Garden of Eden. This attempt is referenced by Razion's effect of returning monsters to the Deck from the Graveyard.
- The face on this monster vaguely resembles Gozaburo Kaiba.
- If you look closely, his face also has a crown.
- Like "Metaion, the Timelord", this is actually a Fairy, rather than a Machine.
- This card's effect temporally relates to the future, dealing damage based on what card the opponent will draw next turn.
- This card resembles the Majestic Mech cards.
- This is the only "Timelord" with a body part that is not metal, namely, the fire on its shoulders.
- One of this card's effects in the anime is nearly identical to that of "Draw Blast".
- When Z-one (the only user of this card in the anime) first Summons this card in his Duel against Aporia, he and other characters misread its effect as "If your opponent controls no monsters, shuffle all cards in your opponent's Graveyard into the Deck." This would not have caused any discrepancies in that particular Duel. The second time he Summons this card against Yusei, the effect is named correctly.
