- While this card is ostensibly based on an Oriental dragon, it still has wings, which Oriental dragons do not.
- This dragon is probably based on the kind of Chinese dragon called the "Ying Long" (應龍 or 应龙) which does have wings.
- Although, the head resembles Barong, a myth creature from Balinese lore
- This card was the first Synchro Monster released in the TCG during the ZEXAL era.
