- "Excaliburn"'s article on Konami's blog implies that "Artorigus" gained power by acquiring "Excaliburn"; this interpretation is supported by "Excaliburn"'s effect that allows "Artorigus, King of the Noble Knights" to perform an Xyz Evolution into this card.
- This monster has exactly 200 ATK and DEF more than "Artorigus, King of the Noble Knights", which in turn has 200 ATK and DEF more than "Noble Knight Artorigus".
- This card's name may be somewhat misleading, as its picture and general lore clearly refers to "King Artorigus" in the form of an upgraded "Sacred Noble Knight". However, the phrase "Sacred Noble Knight of King Artorigus" suggests that the monster is instead some other "Sacred Noble Knight" that is under the command of "King Artorigus".
