- In the anime and some video games, this card is a Spell Card instead of a Trap Card.
- The artwork and effect of "Fiendish Chain" is reminiscent of this card. Also, this card is used in the anime by Seto Kaiba while "Fiendish Chain" is used by Jack Atlas who is seen as Kaiba's counterpart in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's. Jack Atlas also used this card against Yusei Fudo in a flashback seen in the the second episode of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's.
