I made a new dark magician/spellcaster deck and could use someone elses opinion on it.
I like it though i don't know how it's going to turn out.
I dont' have all the cards and am planning to buy them but i would like someone's second opinion before i spend money on a deck that might not work out.
The Deck has 51 Cards making it quite high in the amount of cards, so i would like recommendations on how i can reduce the number of cards
Also with "Dark Paladin", if i know my opponent would be using a dragon deck i plan on keeping him in there but if my opponent isn't, i plan on removing "Dark Paladin", "Buster Blader", "Polymerization", and "Miracle Restoring" so that would mean that my deck would contain 47 cards instead
I Thank Everyone Who Brings Constructive Comments

Hi, I have a few suggestions:
- Ancient Lamp and La Jinn the Mystical Genie of the Lamp are absolutely unnecessary. Take them out.
- Magician of Black Chaos is an OK card, but being a ritual, it's a little situational as you need at least three cards to pull it off (the Ritual Monster, the Ritual Spell, and tributes). Take it out along with its corresponding ritual card.
- Breaker the Magical Warrior can be considered a staple, and because you have such large amounts of Spell Counter support, Breaker is a must.
- Magical Citadel of Endymion is a very useful Field Spell that can protect itself and accumulate Spell Counters.
- Elemental Hero Prisma is useful in two ways: with Dark Paladin in your Extra Deck (and thus not taking up deck space), you can send Dark Magician to the grave and copy its name, allowing you to use Dark Magic Attack or Thousand Knives.
- Almost no deck is complete without Call of the Haunted.
- Magic Cylinder basically is only a temporary solution to a looming monster, and ONLY is useful if your opponent has low LP. Wouldn't it be better if you could get rid of that monster and open your opponent's field up with Dimensional Prison?

here are the changes I would make if you don't mind...
Take out Dark Paladin and replace with some Syncros like Tempest and Exploder Magician Take out 1 Dark magician and put in Dark Eradicator warlock Take out Magician of black chaos and ritual card for Chaos Sorcerer Remove Buster blader (you got too many tributes to begin with) I would also take out 2 of your libraries for 2 Kycoos, would help with a graveyard semi lock Take out ancient lamp for an Arcanite magician or 2 Take out La Jinn for another Skilled Dark take out Exemplar for a frequency magician Take out Polymerizatoin for Mega ton magical cannon Take out Yami for Mafgical citadel of Endymion Take out Miracle Restoring for Royal Decree (M/T lock with Secret village) Take out 2 defenders for 2 Crusaders of Endymion Take out Broken BLocker for Sakuretsu armor Also add Endymion the master magician and a dark magic curtian
I hope this helps, I use a traditional spellcaster deck with a Attack, graveyard, M/T lock stratagy and burn at will with D.E.W. effect.
A Dark Magician deck without Dark Magic Curtain? I highly suggest that. Aznskills90214 15:24, June 25, 2010 (UTC)
Try this recipe. Its really good with field control and speed.

If you don't like Pitch-Black Power Stone, then add other cards like Dust Tornado, Trap Dustshoot, Dimensional Prison, Starlight Road, Dark Bribe.... Hope it helps. --Skiesthelimit (talk • contribs) 19:49, June 25, 2010 (UTC)
