Secret Technique of the Hermit Yokai, Do you have to have a monster on the field to activate this card? I know there are similarly worded cards, but all the rulings i find for them don't mention the "(if any)" text, or the cards say Min. 1. any clarification? The closest i got to confirmation was seeing old ruling forums for Vampire Takeover when it was still called Vampire shift, and DIDN'T say "Min. 1", would it be safe to assume it would just get reworded in the TCG? --Helix-king (talk • contribs) 01:29, October 14, 2014 (UTC)
- You only need a Hermit youkai "CARD", it does not have to be a monster. that is the only requirement. if you have no monsters, that is fine, so long as you have no NON-hermit Youkai monsters, also see Hazy Flame Griffin which has similar wording and once gave me this exact same question.
