:In addition, "Obelisk the Tormentor" only blocked the cards that activating on his Normal Summon; nothing more. So on the same turn, he can be affected by "Shift" later on in the Battle Phase - as because that's player's select, not target. Since when did 96.44.92 mentioned anything about "Ultimate Offering"? That can be possible to Normal Summon "Obelisk the Tormentor" during your opponent's Battle Phase when you have 3 monsters on the field. --iFredCat 03:38, June 14, 2013 (UTC)

Can shift be used on "obelisk the tormantor" to redirect the attack to obelisk the tormantor?96.44.92.186 (talk) 19:02, June 13, 2013 (UTC)

Yes, during the turn it wasn't summoned. SwordoftheSpirit (talkcontribs) 19:15, June 13, 2013 (UTC)

Shift targets during resolution, to be able to effect "obelisk the tormentor"

when this card is normal summoned no spell, trap, and effect can be activated, only happen for the timing of the succefully summoned, after the succefully summoned timing is over the cannot activated spell, and trap cards, and cards effect is over: their is a ruling that if obelisk the tormentor is normal summoned via ultimate offering as part of chain link 2, since the last think to happen was not the normal summoned of obelisk the tormentor the cannot activated spell, trap cards, and cards effect is not applied, this would prove it does not last until the end phase of the turn it is normal summoned.96.44.92.186 (talk) 03:34, June 14, 2013 (UTC)

In addition, "Obelisk the Tormentor" only blocked the cards that activating on his Normal Summon; nothing more.
