Forum:So I got 75 Aitsu from Troll&Toad

Does anyone know a good place to buy random lots of cards? I just bought 350 random level 5-6 monsters from Troll&Toad and got ripped off with 75 Aitsu and 53 Kiryu and a few more monsters with approximatly 30 exemplars each.

Now I'm searching for a website that won't disapoint me as much as them. I'm trying to avoid ebay as you can't trust anyone to really send random cards and not just the crap they can't sell.

Yea those random things usually rip off anyone who buys them, Troll & Toad hasn't let me down yet and I have bought cards from them for a while but never the random cards....--LDEvolution (talk • contribs) 02:22, May 31, 2011 (UTC)

I paid 17$ for 350 cards. I wrote them an email explaining the situation and they told me it was written in the description to expect duplicates. They should have been more accurate by saying that we can't get any more than 15 different monsters. I mean 1 out of 5 were Aitsu. The whole lot wasn't even worth my 17$. They sent the crappiest monsters, you know, those old level 5-6 monsters that have 1300 atk and 1200 def with no effect, before the tributing rule ever came up in the game and that the level didn't matter. I'm talking about a lot of Stone Ogre Grotto and Octoberser and crap like that.

Well when I first started playing, I was playing by the manga's rules, back when Kaiba and Yugi would summon their Blue-Eyes or Dark Magician without any tributes. Here's a list of those crappy monsters:

Frankly, I think this falls under the whole "let the buyer beware" part of business. T&T needed to get rid of those monsters somehow, since no one outside of collectors would want them, so they packaged them in mystery lots. Frankly, I'd expect to get ripped off if I bought a lot of YGO cards, since most of them have little to no use competetively.
