For example: if I normal summoned The wing dragon of ra and pay untill I have 100 life points left, After that if I monster reborn slifer with 5 cards in hand, and Activated mystic wok tributeing slifer to gain 5000 life points so I would have 5100 life points, I could used the ignition effect of the wing dragon of ra 5 times, to clear the field of monster on my opponent's side then attack dirrectly. Could something like that be done?96.44.92.186 (talk) 18:54, June 19, 2013 (UTC)

Would later on would "the wing dragon of ra" have supporter cards? example: If it would be a spell card: The spell card name would be: The wing dragon of ra tributed blast: and the effect would be: Tributed 3 monsters to activated this cards, to special summoned 1 "The wing dragon of ra" from the graveyard or banish zone, and ignore summoning condition, the wing dragon gain attack points equal the total attack of the tributed monsters, during the end phase The wing dragon of ra is sent to the graveyard, and this card can only be activated once per duel.96.44.92.186 (talk) 18:54, June 19, 2013 (UTC)

Obelisk and slifer got the problem solving text, it says cannot be normal set, however for The wing dragon of ra it still says cannot be set. does it means the same thing as cannot be normal set?96.44.92.186 (talk) 13:22, June 14, 2013 (UTC)

Cannot be Special Summoned. Requires 3 Tributes to Normal Summon (cannot be Normal Set). This card's Normal Summon cannot be negated. When Normal Summoned, other cards and effects cannot be activated. When this card is Normal Summoned: You can pay Life Points so that you only have 100 left; this card gains ATK and DEF equal to the amount of Life Points paid. You can pay 1000 Life Points, then target 1 monster on the field; destroy that target.
That's his latest effect text - did you missed that? The second line of that effect also mentioned "Cannot be Normal Set"; therefore Ra is same as Obelisk/Osiris. --iFredCat 13:30, June 14, 2013 (UTC)

The Wing dragon of ra effect of when normal summoned does not say chose the following effect, so could you chain the pay all but 100 of your life points to the pay 1000 life points effect of ra?96.44.92.186 (talk) 23:34, June 18, 2013 (UTC)

example: I have 8000 life points I tributed 3 monster to normal summoned the wing dragon of ra. I pay 1000 life points to target one monster on the field 7000 life points left then I chain pay all but 100 life points. 100 life points left. chain link 2 resolve atk and defense of ra is at 6900. than chain link 1 resolve targeted monster is destroy. Opptional trigger effect is chain able to other speed 1

If yes. Can you chain the pay 1000 life points effect of the wing dragon to the pay 1000 life points of the wing dragon of ra?96.44.92.186 (talk) 23:34, June 18, 2013 (UTC)

Example: I activated pay 1000 life points of the wing dragon of ra when it is normal summoned to target one monster then I chain pay 1000 life points to target a different monster card.

If no on first question ignore the second question and second question example: If yes to the first question, however if it is no to the second question is it because of the "dott" that it indicated that it can only be used once a turn?96.44.92.186 (talk) 23:34, June 18, 2013 (UTC)

Pay until you have 100 LP and Paying 1000 LP to destroy are treated as separate effect. So if you wish to using the first one, do it immediately. If not, then you can't using that effect later in the game if Ra remains. --iFredCat 23:50, June 18, 2013 (UTC)

You did not answer my questions: I'm asking during the normal summoned of the Wing dragon if you activated the effect to pay 1000 life points to target one monster on the field, Can you chain the pay all but 100 life points effect of the wing dragon of ra? Or paying life points for one would probably cause the other one to miss it's timing?96.44.92.186 (talk) 00:51, June 19, 2013 (UTC)

No. Its ATK-gaining effect is a Trigger Effect that can only be activated when it's Summoned. Its destruction effect is an Ignition Effect, which you can use only after the Summon Response window. In other words, if you drop your LP to 100, unless you heal your LP to 1000, you can't use its other effect. You can't chain an Ignition Effect to a Trigger Effect. 222.124.130.204 (talk) 01:09, June 19, 2013 (UTC)
He's right, IP-Addressed #96.44.92.186, Ignition Effect is too slow to catch up with Trigger Effect. So that's why I said they're separate. So pay until you have 100 LP and increase Ra's ATK that much, or just keep your LP and make your Ra a loser, with a sniper weapon on his arm. --iFredCat 01:11, June 19, 2013 (UTC)
