Whats your thoughts on the name changes from the OCG to TCG, it wasn't a big problem in thr past but with the new series ZEXAL Konami USA seems to want to change the names instead of translating them. Heres a small list of the most recent ones from GENF to PHSW.
- No. 39 Aspiring Emperor Hope to lame name utopia
- No. 34 Electronic Computer Beast Tera Byte to stupid pun terror byte
- No. 10 White Knight Illuminator to no reason shorting Illumiknight
- No. 17 Revise Dragon/Leviath Dragon to the wrong name Leviathan Dragon (Leviathan is Ribaiasan not Ribaisu)
- Protector of the Founders, Tyrus to the lame biblical Tiras, Keeper of Genesis
- Underwater Warship - Aero Shark to the lame Submersible Carrier Aero Shark
- Empty Space Sea Serpent Levaiel to the uninspired Leviair the Sea Dragon
- Shock! to Oh F!sh!? seriously?
I also found this picture that someone has showed on Pojo expressing their hate on the name changes [1] I think they're just xenophobic and don't even want to translate the names anymore and just give them uninspired punny names that sound lame as.
