I am pretty new to YuGiOh, and there are some terms I don't understand. what does 'Inflict Piercing Battle Damage' do (From cards like Big Bang Shot)? And what are tokens? Also, what sets are legal at the moment? Thanks in advance, TurtleFlakes TurtleFlakes (talkcontribs) 20:42, March 22, 2017 (UTC)

Piercing means you deal damage by subtracting ATK from the defending monsters DEF. Normally a monster being attacked in Defense position would not deal damage to the defending player, but with Piercing, it will. see Piercing for details.
Tokens are Monsters generated by the effects of another card. They are ALWAYS treated as normal monsters and can only exist on the field, so there are some things you cannot do with them. see Token Monster and Card Rulings:Monster Token for full explanation of their mechanics
and any set that can be purchased in your region is legal to play in that region, barring anything on the current Banlist. basically if you have the card in your and it is in your country's language, it's legal (with a few exceptions, but that's only for Europe)
