• The Spanish name, "Zorro de Fuego", translates to "Fire Fox".
• "Fox Fire" is the familiar of "Hiita the Fire Charmer".
  • This card is also the only familiar that is an effect monster.
• This card was based on the biblical story of Samson found in Judges chapter 15, when he took 300 foxes and tied them in pairs with a torch on their tails. In its Japanese name, however, states that this monster was based on the "Kitsune".
• This card appears in the artwork of "Volcanic Curse".
• This card has a possessed counterpart, "Inari Fire".
