Naming

Can I just ask, why was this card's name changed to "Chaos Close"? If they had meant it to be 'close', surely they would have rendered it as クローズ (kurōzu, as on "Chain Close") rather than クロス (kurosu, as on "Corkscrew Cross"). Rebster6 (talk • contribs) 11:19, July 2, 2013 (UTC)

It can be either. "Close" makes more sense though. There is no cross on the artwork and the effect "closes" a "C" monster by removing its Overlay Units. Cheesedude (talk • contribs) 16:20, July 3, 2013 (UTC)

I think "クローズ" (Kurōzu) can mean "close", as in "shut", while "クロス" (Kurosu) can mean "close", as in "near". In the dialect I'm used to, at least, they have different pronunciations, with the first one having more of a "z" sound. Although, that would mean that its name can be "Chaos Close", but not because it "closes" a "C(haos)" monster. -- Deltaneos (talk) 18:43, July 3, 2013 (UTC)
