I have a rather interesting question. Let's say my opponet plays both a quick-play Spell AND a Trap. [[Herald of Green Light]] allows me to to dump it, and one other monster to the grave to negate a spell's activation and destroy it. Meanwhile, [[Herald of Purple Light]] allows me to dump itself and one other monster to the grave to negate a traps' activation and destroy it. You can only negate the previous effect in the link so what it means is that:

:Chain Link 1: your opponent activates a spell.

:Chain Link 2: You must chain Herald of Green Light now or else the effect of the spell won't be negated.

You can only negate the previous effect in the link so what it means is that:

Chain Link 1: your opponent activates a spell.
Chain Link 2: You must chain Herald of Green Light now or else the effect of the spell won't be negated.
Chain Link 3: Your opponent then activates a trap.
Chain Link 4: You must chain Herald of Purple Light now.
