Will Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds Episode 137 and the ones after that episode be dubbed, because the duel ended in episode 136, when the Japanese duel ended in episode 137. I just really hope they are, because I was extremely loking forward to them. 86.15.144.198 (talk) 07:42, September 11, 2011 (UTC)

I've been wondering that myself since the episode ended. They made it seem like the whole thing was over and that Neo Domino was finally safe, when in reality it was a false sense of security that only lasted before the Arc Cradle created a rift in the sky (now that would've been an epic cliffhanger if they were continuing the series). I found it so weird that they actually left the whole Aporia explosion bit. They should really continue as it was too open-ended in the dub while the original had a true ending where they lost their Signs (which made me cry a bit). I mean, there are only 18 or so episodes left to air. But, they probably stopped there as there might be a couple of plot holes if they continue. --Videogamefan (talkcontribs) 05:10, September 12, 2011 (UTC)

From what I've heard, they plan to start dubbing ZEXAL, since the ratings for 5D's were very low. They did the same thing with GX. They're continuing with that until and if they lose the rights to the franchise. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 12:09, September 12, 2011 (UTC)
Despite being sued, 4Kids appealed to not lose their license to dub Yu-Gi-Oh! and were successful. Is there any evidence that GX and 5D's being cut short was because of low ratings? -- Deltaneos (talk) 19:56, September 12, 2011 (UTC)
Oh, I know about the appeal. But that's only until the court case is over, right? Unless they actually win the case. As for the ratings, I don't have an actual source beyond the ratings themselves. They've never commented on why they stopped dubbing them, but low ratings seems like a pretty good reason. DM re-runs were getting better ratings than the current season of 5D's. Just out of curiousity, what source do we have that this is the last English episode? Has 4Kids made an official announcement, or is this just fan speculation? If 4Kids has made an official statement, it should be cited as a source, otherwise we should not say that it is the last English episode until it is proven that it is. Sure 4Kids ended the duel in this episode as opposed to the next one, but I'm not sure that proves anything. Remember, they were airing this as a 1 hour special and probably didn't want it to have a continuation in the next episode. Also, they called the 1 hour special a "Premiere Event", which is not what they would call it if it was a finale. Also, they gave this episode a new subtitle (Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's "Fight for the Future" rather than "Road to Destiny"), which wouldn't make much sense if this was a stand alone episode. There was also a commercial at the end of the episode which made it seem that they would be continuing the series online, so maybe it won't be on TV, but on the 4Kids site. Sure, there would be plot holes if they did this, but that is their own fault for not dubbing episodes 111-122 (or whichever episodes they skipped). What they should do is dub those episodes as well and put them up on their site, like they did with those 5 or 6 episodes they skipped during the Dark Signers arc. Sorry if this a bit rambling, but I really hope they finish the series properly and don't just end it now. Hopefully some of this helps. 75.37.128.72 (talk) 21:12, September 13, 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, that whole part at the end of the episode about we could catch more episodes of 5D's on the 4Kids site confused me a bit. They made it seem like they'll be airing the rest of the episodes on their site and it would be terrible of them if it was just a tease. They should really air all the episodes they skipped as they were important to the story (well, maybe not Team Tayou). I don't remember if they actually stated that the final episodes of the previous YGO series were regarded as series finales when they aired on TV. There's still a chance there'll be more episodes, but I hope I'm not getting my hopes up too much. They didn't touch up on a couple of things. I mean, they showed that Z-One was the one who created Aporia, which pretty much shows that he's the mastermind. They never explained why Bruno was sent to help Yusei. But the most important thing was that Yusei and the gang didn't actually save the people of the future, just themselves. If they're going to do Zexal, which takes place in the future, shouldn't the dark future be fixed somehow?--Videogamefan (talkcontribs) 04:51, September 14, 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, they really should dub all of the episodes. I really wanted to see some of the things that happen later, like Leo becoming a Signer. As for Zexal, I think we probably wouldn't see that for a while, considering Zexal has only had 23 episodes in Japan as of yet, it seems a bit early to start an English version. 75.37.128.72 (talk) 05:38, September 14, 2011 (UTC)
