DBT Lores

Can you add dbtlore from Yu-Gi-Oh! Destiny Board Traveler into cardtable2? I been using altlore and now I feel that there should be a dbtlore. Here is a list of them, I will add more if necessary. WinterNightmare (talkcontribs) 00:33, October 4, 2012 (UTC)

Done. Let me know if anything seems up. =) ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 01:16, October 4, 2012 (UTC)
Thanks, no problems so far. WinterNightmare (talkcontribs) 02:54, October 4, 2012 (UTC)

Seventh errata

Good day Dinoguy, I have found three card errata page that doesn't show up the seventh errata. Kuriboh, Magic Cylinder, and Swords of Revealing Light. That is all I found, if any new card has the seventh errata, then I will tell you. Thanks in advance. --Dlamash (talkcontribs) 18:26, October 4, 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for the report, Dlamash. =) Currently, {{Errata table}} doesn't have support for a seventh (or beyond) erratum, so any Card Errata page that uses one won't display it (though you should still include them as though there were support, since it will be added). Sorry about the inconvenience, and thanks for all your work and diligence! ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 18:31, October 4, 2012 (UTC)

Bandai Colors

Hello. You're changing the color of some pages, right? I have a question if the color of the Spell Cards from Bandai (like this) need to change, since it's hard to read white letters on yellow (Bandai Monster Cards are black on yellow). Thanks. --Missign0 (talkcontribs) 13:36, October 9, 2012 (UTC)

Are you talking about these two edits? In both cases, the colors I removed/changed were ones that were on the cards from 2007 when they were created; support has since been added to {{CardTable2}} for the colors of those particular card types (and the exact color we use has changed in that time as well).
That being said, the contrast is definitely a problem on the card you pointed out; I've fixed it. =) ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 04:09, October 10, 2012 (UTC)

Spam

You may wish to delete User:Judiths and ban the user. Spamming links across Wikia... I've reported the user over at VSTF, only noticed it here due to the my favorite wikis thing on his user page. --Hunterj|My talk 02:30, October 11, 2012 (UTC)

Done. Thanks for the heads-up. =) ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 10:33, October 11, 2012 (UTC)

ZEXAL II

Per Forum:Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL II, I've merged most of the ZEXAL and ZEXAL II content. Most links using {{episode}} for Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL - Episode 074 aren't showing up at all, such as at Fuma. I know SMW has been wonky recently, but I want to make sure there's nothing else I've missed changing that could be affecting it (already cleared by cache, for the record). Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 03:00, October 12, 2012 (UTC)

I'll have a look in a bit, assuming my internet connection holds out; I haven't been able to connect hardly any today so I've got some catching up to do. =/ ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 06:38, October 12, 2012 (UTC)
Based on a cursory look, I'd say it's the SMW cache being the SMW cache. Apparently, though, SMW is "horribly broken" on 1.19, so that could explain this and other problems we've been having with it since the upgrade. *shrug* ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 08:43, October 12, 2012 (UTC)
The infoboxes still say series = Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL II, rather than series = Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL. -- Deltaneos (talk) 10:53, October 12, 2012 (UTC)
*headdesk* Yup, Cheese is a dumbass. Thanks, Delt. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 12:11, October 12, 2012 (UTC)

Redirect Templates

I just came across a few redirects which use {{R from card number}} and {{R from set number}}.
All recent redirects don't use them. Is it because it's not necessary any more, or did everyone forget about it.
For the record, there are also redirects from Passcodes, e.g. A5CF6HSH.
-Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 06:09, October 12, 2012 (UTC)
Those are old templates (and categories) based on a system that Wikipedia used at that time for categorizing redirects; AFAIK I was the only one ever pushing the system here (and if you look at my old contributions, you'll see I didn't do much in that direction). Frankly, I have no idea at this point whether this is something we'd really want to pursue; I don't even know if it's still done on Wikipedia. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 06:27, October 12, 2012 (UTC)
Currently there are:
5223 redirects which should be in R from card number, with 2782 of them are already in it.
69072 redirects which should be in R from set number, with 1021 of them are already in it.
Well it'd be more organized to have everything in categories. Should I ask on the forum?
-Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 07:16, October 12, 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, that's what I would say. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 07:31, October 12, 2012 (UTC)
Added to the forum. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 07:39, October 12, 2012 (UTC)
I've added a few myself, and usually do on the rare occasions I create one of those redirects. I assumed that not doing it that way was the old system; I never bothered to ask. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 12:11, October 12, 2012 (UTC)

Missed Codes

As in this article, there are like couple of games that don't show up in the list. What can I do with them if I can't get them posted? Or is there alternate way to make them show up? --iFredCat 16:05, October 18, 2012 (UTC)

The correct parameters for WC7, WC8, and WC9 are wc07_sets, wc08_sets, and wc09_sets. Video game parameters generally use the video game's promotional card set abbreviation. ;) ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 20:08, October 18, 2012 (UTC)
Glad to know that - but only missing in that list is Dark Beginning 2 for WC09... I put in WC10 in it place. --iFredCat 20:25, October 18, 2012 (UTC)

New Upgrade

What do you think of how I made Yugi's Collection look like? --iFredCat 14:27, October 25, 2012 (UTC)

Looks pretty good. How do you decide what print of a card to list, though? ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 19:22, October 25, 2012 (UTC)
I collected them and post them what I have. If I don't own those cards that listed as 0 (obtained), then that card's latest release will always be on the list and I may preparing to purchasing them online if I couldn't afford the shop pulling. The surprise part from LCYW pulling was Monster Reborn in Ultra Rare (which was reprinted in honor of LOB version, only with better lore) and Magic Cylinder as Super Rare. --iFredCat 19:33, October 25, 2012 (UTC)
Aah, cool. That also explains the cards that are listed more than once, then. =) ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 19:35, October 25, 2012 (UTC)
Indeed, but I only listed all cards that released into TCG, not extreme version, like all those stuffs Yugi used in the final duel against Atem or in the final duel against Judai. I meant, c'mon, those stuffs are ridiculous to pulling out of the pig's butt. So on to Yusei's collection, I go! --iFredCat 19:41, October 25, 2012 (UTC)

Archetype search

Found something else you may want to account for with it. It listed "Lady of D." as a "Priestess" monster because its unofficial Chinese name contained "巫女". I added it the archetype without actually checking the Japanese name for the card. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 02:11, October 29, 2012 (UTC)

There's an archetype search program? -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 02:14, October 29, 2012 (UTC)
Not a program, but it generally works well. Check the "archetype searches" section of Dinoguy's user page. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 02:54, October 29, 2012 (UTC)
Here's a link, Falzar. ;)
There's nothing I can do about this, unfortunately; it would require the search to actually be able to *parse* pages, rather than simply matching according to terms that appear (or don't appear) on the page in question. The only thing you can really do is to spend a few seconds manually checking each result; I find that a browser with Ctrl+F search functionality, that highlights the matches on the page, helps a lot with speed.
Other than that, if there's anything that either of you (or anyone else reading this ;) ) can think of to improve the query further, I'm all ears. =D ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 03:06, October 29, 2012 (UTC)
Ok, now that I know this happening is a possibility, I'll be more careful. Thanks. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 03:37, October 29, 2012 (UTC)
I'll also use my usual method to check and pay particular attention do the differences. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 11:42, October 29, 2012 (UTC)
You mentioned how substrings could be used in semantic searches in an earlier forum. This could be applied here to find all Japanese names containing a particular term. [[Japanese Name::~*巫女*]]. -- Deltaneos (talk) 13:19, October 29, 2012 (UTC)
That does seem to work, doesn't it? I don't think I've ever actually thought of trying that, myself. *sheepish grin* ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 19:41, October 29, 2012 (UTC)
