Hello Everyone

I'm new to Wiki, so if there is any tips you have for me, please tell me. Also, deck help is appreciated.

Response

He is the luckiest bastard ever.

Thanks

I'm glad that you found my build, the fact that you improved and modernized it makes me extremely happy! I put the build online in the first place in that someone might find and utilize the biproduct of my efforts. If it's not too much trouble, could you show me what you've come up with? I'm intrigued as to how you've taken advantage of the newer machine support (Cyber Dragon Zwei, the Machina's, the semi-restricted CyDra, etc.). As for the Drago, I would keep it in. Infernities are going to be a top tier deck and they, unfortunately, are DARK. I have to see the build to be accurate, but I'm pretty sure that it's still worth running. How many Drago's are you running? --Tantara (talk) 02:49, March 10, 2010 (UTC)

  • Your fixes look extremely solid =) I'll try to go more in depth when I have time to, I'm extremely busy at the moment. As for your deck, I don't think that Drago is bad in the build, even in the current meta. Three might be one too many, I recommend just testing a Blizzard Dragon in it's place. I really didn't have time to look at the Hopeless deck, but it hasn't been updated for the new format, you still have 2 Foolish Burials. Your builds are VERY solid, I'm really impressed. You're new on wikia? --Tantara (talk) 02:53, March 12, 2010 (UTC)

Re: Decks for Free!

  • How did the Blizzard Dragon work out? It's not as good as Drago, but I prefer it this format. Anyways, by all means, let the user know that you're a "guest deckbuilder" and give the user your deck. I really enjoyed the thought that you put into it, it uses the Synchron theme very well. In fact, I believe this is the first Synchron deck I've actually liked. There's been a forbidden list change, Cyber Dragon is now at two and Chaos Sorcerer is back to one. Another thing that I recommend is that you switch out Threatening War for Waboku. Waboku allows offensive moves that go around Honest/Kalut as well as being a good defensive card. As for Dark Simorgh, I really wouldn't. There's simply too small a ratio of WIND/DARK to properly support it; the best thing about Simorgh is that it's self-reviving, having so few WIND/DARK monsters doesn't take advantage of it. Your decks are excellent. --Tantara (talk) 23:56, March 25, 2010 (UTC)
  • It's fine, just wanted to let you know about the details of the new format change, I hope Blizzard Dragon works out for you, as well. I was really impressed with your build, if you ever want to talk or need something, just let me know haha. Innovation is a rare find here. --Tantara (talk) 01:56, March 27, 2010 (UTC)

RE: machine synchro build

hello i just wanted to say tank you very much, it looks (like you said) very fast, but when i was counting the cards i got 38, i double checked and got 38 again just wanted to tell u that.Blackwingbirdman 22:11, March 26, 2010 (UTC)

RE: RE: machine synchro build

sorry if u got offended, i wasnt trying to be a jerk by saying its only 38.Blackwingbirdman 22:53, March 26, 2010 (UTC)

Re:Dragoequites

The deck looks pretty good. I've been meaning to make a Dragoequites deck myself, just haven't gotten around to it. --Blue (Talk) 23:16, March 29, 2010 (UTC)

Well you can add in a Five-Headed Dragon to the Extra Deck to use with Dragon Knight, then drop a Miracle Fusion.--Akiza Izayoi 01:24, March 30, 2010 (UTC)

Earthbound Immortals

I'm facinated with the Lightsworn idea. It'll give the EBI's the speed they lack and, if I remember correctly, the Lightsworn Field Spell is self-protecting. From experience, I know it's a lot easier to use Earthbound Revival than to actually summon the EBI itself. I strongly recommend that you follow up with your LS version. I'm intrigued by this idea, let me know if/when you're done with it!

And as for the Dragonquites deck, I really lack experience in that area since it hasn't been released yet. I don't think all of the cards that will support the idea have been announced yet, so I'm going to refrain from giving advice. --Tantara (talk) 17:45, March 30, 2010 (UTC)

FGD would just be an alternate win condition. 5000 ATK beatsticks are always nice.--Akiza Izayoi 01:25, April 1, 2010 (UTC)

machine synchro deck question

i was wondering if One for One would work out nicely in the deck u made me?Blackwingbirdman 01:49, April 1, 2010 (UTC)

Ah, I forgot that the only dragons were in the Extra Deck. Oh, and I'd love to face the deck. Would you mind an IRC duel sometime?--Akiza Izayoi 22:52, April 1, 2010 (UTC)

Please do not edit other user's posts on my Talk Page.--Akiza Izayoi 13:56, April 2, 2010 (UTC)

Ok. Do you see the "IRC Channel" beneath the "Forum" section? Click that, then there should be a link to go to the IRC. Go down the scroll box of channels to find "Yu-gi-oh-wikia" or something like that. Select your username, then join.--Akiza Izayoi 14:28, April 2, 2010 (UTC)

  • How do you do those things that says "show"/-"monsters""traps""spells"???
  • Sorry, but please sign your post with four tidles "~" that way i can tell who you are and respond to your question.

TwosidedDragon 15:31, April 2, 2010 (UTC)

Go to the irc.wikia.com one.--Akiza Izayoi 16:02, April 2, 2010 (UTC)

All right, I am online as well. I'll be on for a while.--Akiza Izayoi 16:14, April 2, 2010 (UTC)

What channel are you on?--Akiza Izayoi 16:24, April 2, 2010 (UTC)

Hmm... Go back to the irc.wikia.com, to the place where you picked your username. There should be a scroll down box that says #wikia. Go to the very bottom of the scroll and pick Yugioh wikia.--Akiza Izayoi 17:02, April 2, 2010 (UTC)

Sorry, i'm there now as well. I was doing quite a few different things at once.--Akiza Izayoi 17:29, April 2, 2010 (UTC)

I'm sorry that I didn't reply sooner

I didn't see your post on my talk page!!! How did you OTK with the aliens? Maybe it could help my deck! - Mecha Bunny Guy 20:11, April 2, 2010 (UTC)

most of it is completed

i have built most of the deck but there is still some cards i need to get tommarrow at the tournament.Blackwingbirdman 01:09, April 3, 2010 (UTC)

Hey, sorry

I've been out on vacation, sorry about missing your message. As for building a Deck Gallery, simply go to User:TwosidedDragon/Deck Gallery and click create page. Once you're done, just out a link to it on your userpage. Now, onto the deck. I really like what you've done with it, I do have a few suggestions, though. First, include Revival of the Immortals! The EBI's you've included don't really need to inflict battle damage, they can do plenty damage with just their effects. Second, drop a Jain for Ryko. Ryko gives backfield destruction as well as creating offensive opportunities. On top of that, I recommend you drop a Garoth for a Junk Synchron. Junk Synchron goes extremely well with Ryko and gives you Catastor opportunities. Excellent deck! --Tantara (talk) 00:42, April 5, 2010 (UTC)

  • That dragonquites combo sounds quite good; a two-card combo is excellent. The only thing I'd worry about is the fact that Black Rose Dragon is limited, that might make it a bit difficult to properly utilize the deck. As this'll probably be mainly plants, will it be a Garden build? --Tantara (talk) 01:28, April 6, 2010 (UTC)

Aww, I was kind of hoping to take a crack at it. You can take it though, then post it up. I'll post mine after, since i'm very busy at the moment.--Akiza Izayoi 21:39, April 7, 2010 (UTC)

  • I'm loving the Dragonquites deck. The inclusion of both Gale Dogra and the Flamvell duo is very good. Very innovative, haha. Anyways, I don't see anything wrong with the Arcana Force deck, but I have very little experience with them. Ask BEWK if you really want to put it up. Let him know that I OK'd it, if you do ask. If I didn't already have so many deckbuilders, I'd ask you to join Decks for Free! --Tantara (talk) 23:49, April 7, 2010 (UTC)
  • Nah, I've been boycotting the IRC for the past few months. Irresponsible OP's and cheating and such. Instead, I'm usually on YVD instead though the program has recently crashed on me. Oh, question: would you interested in becoming a Deckbuilder on Decks for Free!? We may need another. --Tantara (talk) 23:55, April 12, 2010 (UTC)
  • Again, I dislike the OP's on the IRC. Anyways, you guessed correctly, I'm going to see if I can get you in. The poll is just a way to let the other deckbuilders know that I'm considering another deckbuilder. --Tantara (talk) 01:50, April 13, 2010 (UTC)
  • Want to join Decks for Free!? We could really use your help! We're now 2 months behind on requests, we need to change that. --Tantara (talk) 23:47, April 19, 2010 (UTC)
  • The Inca-Assault deck looks fine to me. Perhaps a copy of Oracle over Tricky? The Tricky eats your hand quite quickly, 2's a good number. Don't forget about CyDra, too! Why not take advantage of the infinite field presence offered by CyDra and oracle? both are Honestable, as well. Good job. --Tantara (talk) 23:51, April 21, 2010 (UTC)
  • You're now an official Deckmaker, if you'd like to post that on your userpage. Would you like to get down to the page? I'm interested to see what request you'll take, first. --Tantara (talk) 02:04, April 22, 2010 (UTC)

Blooming Dragon Knight

I don't like the idea of Black Garden in this deck, not at all. Your deck is trying to be faster than Black Garden will allow. Maybe you could drop some copies of that. Runer5h 19:43, April 9, 2010 (UTC)Runer5h

Well I actually never proxied that deck, nor do I think I have the time to at the moment. I'd be happy to duel sometime though.--Akiza Izayoi 02:13, April 20, 2010 (UTC)

Re: Need you to block someone... a vandal

They only made one edit. Blocks are only used if they are more persistent, especially when the person is editing through an IP. It's unlikely that they'll continue any time soon, so a block shouldn't be necessary. -- Deltaneos (talk) 00:19, May 3, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, pretty funny, huh?

As you saw, I couldn't believe it either. Runer5h 19:24, May 10, 2010 (UTC)Runer5h

Beat you to the punch

Yeah. Here's my opinions:

  • Scrap Searcher: Cool card. It means extra field presence when my monsters are destroyed, and is easy to get to the graveyard to use its effect.
  • Scrap Soldier: I do not care for it. Its effect is worse than worthless, its stats are subpar. And it can only be used really with Scrap Chimera. It's basically very inconsistent.
  • Scrap Twin Dragon: THIS is a fun card. However, I don't consider it so much an upgraded counterpart of Scrap Dragon as an alternative. It's not as good against spells and traps, and is somewhat harder to summon, but it has the extra ATK and field clearing power.
  • Scrap Oil Zone: First of all, I think this was once a stage from Sonic the Hedgehog. Second of all, it's pretty good, but it's difficult if you can't get it off the field that turn because between losing your effect and losing your battle phase, you've lost a lot of options for that turn.
  • Scrap Crash: Good for side-decking, against BW, things like that. Runer5h 22:11, May 21, 2010 (UTC)Runer5h

RE: Cyberdark Armed Dragon crossover.

Sup? It's WhiteGriever. I just wanted to come on your talk page and thank you for accepting my request. Also I wanted to tell you about my response on Decks for Free!. If you look at my post you will see about the minor changes in my request. Anyway I just wanted to thank you more personally. WhiteGriever 06:00, June 5, 2010 (UTC)

Re: A little question in the rulings department...

The equipped monster is treated as an equip card, but not an Equip Spell Card. They are no longer treated as having effects.
1) No, you cannot tribute a card from the Spell and Trap Card Zones. They are not treated as a monster.
2) No, you cannot remove from play an equipped Dragon because it is not treated as a monster.
3) no, the equipped monsters are not treated as having any effects.
No such thing as a stupid rulings question, and it's always good to ask (PS: you may also want to ask Deus Ex Machina, as I'm not %100 about this, though I am %99). DemonGodAsura 18:29, June 5, 2010 (UTC)
