[[Yami Bakura]] has just captured the souls of [[YugiMuto|Yugi]], [[Joey Wheeler|Joey]] asks , [[Bakura RyouTristan Taylor|Tristan]], and [[Téa Gardner|BakuraTéa]] if heand sealed them inside of Yugi's Deck, and [[Yami Yugi]] must now win them back in a duelist of the Dark Games. [[Shadow Game]]. Yami Yugi expresses his surprise that Yami Bakura is a Shadow Game Duelist, but Yami Bakura]] reveals he is not the real [[Bakura and after Yugi asks him his objectiveRyou|Bakura]]. (In the dub, he mentions that Yugi should know refers to himself as a thief and a stealer of souls.) Yami Bakura says that whoever has possesses all 7 seven [[Millennium Items ]] will have everythingthe power to rule the world. The pair start a [[Duel]] with Yami Yugi's [[Millenium Millennium Puzzle]] and his friends' souls at stake.

The Duel starts and For Yami Yugi summons 's first move, he Summons "[[Cyber Commander (anime)|Cyber Commander]]"in Defense Position, noting that it is [[Tristan Taylor|Tristan's]] favorite card. Yami Yugi Summons thinks that he can't recklessly play his friends' soul cards, but at the moment, he only has one card that can defeat Yami Bakura's monster - Joey's "[[Flame Swordsman (anime)|Flame Swordsman]]" to defeat Yami Bakura's "White Magical Hat". Since "Flame Swordsman" is [[Joey Wheeler|Joey's]] favorite card, Yugi correctly deduces that He Summons it will contain Joey's soul. Like Tristanin Attack Position, and Joey emerges from the card, six inches tall and dressed as the "Flame Swordsman". Joey is surprised to see Yami Yugi. Yami Yugi explains the situation to Joey so he offers , who gets freaked out when Yami Yugi tells him about the Graveyard, but agrees to help in any way he can. Joey defeats the , without input from Yami Yugi, attacks "White Magical Hat" but in his pride he recklessly takes out a [[face-down]] monsterand destroys it, "dropping Yami Bakura's [[Morphing Jar (anime)|Morphing JarLife Points]]", which forces both players to discard their hands and draw 5 new cards. Yugi is glad that he didn't have any of his friends cards in his hand at the time1200.

In his new handOn Yami Bakura's turn, he [[Set]]s a monster. Yami Yugi holds hesitates and wonders what the card is, but Joey charges forward to attack despite Yami Yugi's pleas for him to stop. The Set monster is revealed to be "[[Dark Magician Morphing Jar (anime)|Dark MagicianMorphing Jar]]", which Joey slices through with his own favorite card. Unsure of what to expectsword, he Summons it but Yami Bakura and regular [[Yugi Muto|Yugi]] emerges, but Yami Yugi is still playing. In reveal the same turn he uses "[[Monster Reborn (anime)|Reborn the MonsterFlip Effect]]of " to revive TristanMorphing Jar" - both players now must discard their hands and draw five new cards. Joey and Tristan express their confusion as apologizes to why there are two Yugis. Yami Yugi reveals that as the one dueling is the "other latter discards his hand. Yami Yugi thinks to himself that keeping Yugi's soul card in his hand is dangerous, so he Summons "Dark Magician" in Attack Position. Regular [[Trap CardYugi Muto|Yugi]] emerges from the card, dressed as "Dark Magician". Yami Yugi then uses "[[Just Desserts Monster Reborn (anime)|Just DessertsMonster Reborn]]" to take away a large percentage of Yami Yugibring back "Cyber Commander" from the Graveyard, and Tristan's [[Life Points]]soul along with it. Yami Joey and Tristan express their confusion as to why there are two Yugis, and Yugi Summons reveals that the one Dueling is the "Magician of Faithother Yugi"who is a spirit dwelling inside the Millennium Puzzle. (In the dub, feeling he's more vague, talking about how he can hear a strong voice from the Puzzle guiding him.) He apologizes for not telling the others. Joey says that it's okay - they're all friends anyway, so it doesn't matter. Yugi asks where Téa would is, and Tristan says she must still be more safe on in the deck. Joey resolves to win the field instead of in Duel before her card can get played. Yugi turns and uses his hand. When Téa emerges everyone tries "Black Magic" to explain what destroy Yami Bakura's Set monster, which is happening. During this Joey makes fun of revealed to be another "smallerMorphing Jar" Yugi, which causes both Duelists to refresh their hands again. In a fit of anger, The last card in Yami Yugi attacks Yami Bakura's face down new hand is Téa's soul card, - "[[Electric Lizard Magician of Faith (anime)|Electric LizardMagician of Faith]]". He soon regrets it when Yami Bakura asks if Yami Yugi drew a good card. (In the card gives him an electric shockdub, Yami Yugi reveals that he drew "Magician of Faith", causing Yami Bakura to taunt Yami Yugi.)

Yami Bakura Sets another monster, then sets "[[Man-Eater Bug (anime)|Manactivates his face-Eater Bug]]" which can automatically destroy any down [[Monster Trap Card|monster]] on the opponent's [[field]]. Joey volunteers to sacrifice himself and he is sent to the graveyard. Yami Yugi uses the , "[[Horn of Heaven Just Desserts (anime)|Horn of HeavenJust Desserts]]" to destroy the "Man-Eater Bug". In the graveyard, Joey is chased by the "which deals 500 [[Reaper of the Cards (anime)|Reaper of the Cardseffect damage]]"to Yami Yugi for each monster on his field. Since there are three, Yami Bakura says that when it Yugi takes him he will be trapped forever. Téa begins 1500 damage and his Life Points fall to cry over losing Joey. This activates her special ability500, allowing causing Yami Yugi to reuse a previous [[Spell Card|Magic Card]]. Yami Bakura plays Yugi thinks that Téa's soul card isn't safe in his hand, and so he Sets "[[Lady of Faith (anime)|Lady Magician of Faith]]" , feeling that Téa would be more safe on the field. Téa peeks out from under the face-down card, causing the other monsters to gather around her card and intends try to hide her from view. The gang explains the situation to use Téa. During this, Joey tells Téa that there's a "[[Change of Heart (anime)|Change of Heart]]cool" to turn Yugi against his friends and win a "regular" Yugi. (In the Duel. When dub, the adjective "Change of Heartregular" is Summoned, normal Bakura emerges, as it is his favorite card. He instead chooses to take control of "Lady of Faithpuny" and volunteers .) In order to prove that he can be destroyed by Yugicool too, but Yugi doesn't want uses "Black Magic" to attack his friend as that would send him to the Graveyard. Everyone returns back Yami Bakura Sets another monster, which he declares to be "[[Man-Eater Bug (anime)|Man-Eater Bug]]". Yugi explains that when "Man-Eater Bug" is flipped face-up, it can destroy one monster on the opponent's field. Joey wants to normalattack it, but Yugi says it's worthless, as the card will flip face-up if it's attacked. Joeyasks if there's any way they can stop it from being [[Flip Summon]]ed, and Yugi says it's possible if they use "Horn of Heaven", but that the card requires a sacrifice to be used. Tristan resolves to go, but Joey uses the hilt of the sword of "Flame Swordsman" to knock him over. He says that he'll be the one to face Yami Bakura, and charges in, to Yugi and Téa thought 's objections. Joey lands on top of "Man-Eater Bug", which emerges from the card and the two begin to struggle. Joey calls to Yami Yugi, who uses "Horn of Heaven", sacrificing "Flame Swordsman" and Joey's soul to negate the Flip Summon of "Man-Eater Bug" and destroy it. "Flame Swordsman" and "Man-Eater Bug" are destroyed simultaneously. Yami Bakura laughs and says they had been dreaming 'll all be sent there anyway soon enough.  In the Graveyard, Joey is chased by the "Reaper of the Cards", trips over a rock and falls to the ground. Téa begins to cry over losing Joey. A single tear drops to the ground, which activates her Flip Effect, allowing Yami Yugi to add a [[Spell Card]] from the Graveyard back to his hand. He adds back "Monster Reborn" and immediately activates it, bringing back "Flame Swordsman" and Joey's soul from the Graveyard, just as the "Reaper" was about to swipe Joey with his scythe. Yami Bakura says that when he activates it, he'll be able to turn "Dark Magician" Yugi against his friends. He declares that the gang's friendship is over and activates "Change of Heart". However, when "Change of Heart" is activated, normal Bakura emerges and appears as the angel on the card, as it is his favorite card. He flies over to "Lady of Faith" and uses the effect of "Change of Heart" to take control of it. He volunteers to be destroyed by Yugi, but Yugi doesn't want to attack his friend as that would send him to the Graveyard. However, Yami Yugi uses his Millennium Puzzle's power to switch the places of Bakura and Yami Bakura's souls, turning Yami Bakura into the "Lady of Faith" and normal Bakura into Yami Yugi's opponent. Yami Yugi orders "Dark Magician" to attack "Lady of Faith", and Yugi uses "Black Magic" to destroy "Lady of Faith", send Yami Bakura's soul to the Graveyard, and reduce Bakura's Life Points to 0, winning the Shadow Game. In the Graveyard, Yami Bakura curses the failure of his plan, and the "Reaper of the Cards" appears behind him, causing him to scream. As the dust settles, everyone's souls return back where they belong. Yugi asks Bakura where he got his [[Millennium Ring]] , and Bakura reveals that the Ring was a gift from his father , who had bought it in Egypt from an unusual looking merchant. He says that the merchant was from the [[Shadow Realm]]. Joey, Tristan and Téa wake up, feeling like they were dreaming, only to see the real Bakura right in front of them, which momentarily freaks them out again.

Yami Yugi draws "[[Monster Reborn (anime)|Reborn the Monster]]". He then Normal Summons "Dark Magician" (2500/2100) with [[Yugi Muto|"Little" Yugi]]'s]] soul within it in Attack Position. Yami Yugi then [[activate]]s "Reborn the Monster" to [[Special Summon]] "Cyber Commander"/Tristan "Cyber Commander" (750/700) from his Graveyard in Attack Position. "Dark Magician"/Little Yugi attacks and destroys Yami Bakura's Set "Morphing Jar" (700/600). This activates the latter's Flip Effect, forcing both players to [[discard]] their [[hand]] draw five cards. One of the cards Yami Yugi draws is "[[Magician of Faith (anime)|Magician of Faith]]", [[Téa Gardner|Téa]]'s]] favorite card.

Yami Yugi's hand contains an unknown Monster Card"[[Shien's Body Double]]", "[[Rock Ogre Grotto 1 (anime)|Rock Ogre Grotto #1]]", "[[Anthrosaurus (anime)|Anthrosaurus]]", "[[Basic Insect (anime)|Basic Insect]]" and "Magician of Faith". Yami Yugi draws. He then Sets "Magician of Faith", and although she is not [[face-up]], [[Téa Gardner|Téa]] still appears. After his pride is hurt by a casual description from Joey, "Dark Magician"/Little Yugi attacks and destroys Yami Bakura's Set "[[Electric Lizard (anime)|Electric Lizard]]" (850/800). The effect of "Electric Lizard" activates, preventing "Dark Magician"/Little Yugi from attacking next [[turn]] as he is not a [[Zombie]]-[[Type]] monster. Yami Yugi Sets "[[Horn of Heaven (anime)|Horn of Heaven]]".

Bakura Normal Summons "* [[Lady of Faith(anime)|Lady of Faith]]" (1100/800) in Attack Position. He then activates "[[Change of Heart (anime)|Change of Heart]]" with the intention of using it to take control of "Dark Magician"/Little Yugi, in order to use it to attack and destroy one of Yami Yugi's other monsters and win the Duel. Right after "Change of Heart" is activated, it is revealed that [[Bakura Ryou]]'s soul was locked inside "Change of Heart" as it is his favorite card. He then takes over "Lady of Faith" to prevent Yami Bakura from winning the Duel.
