Q&A Rulings
- Q: A "Gashadokuro, the Skeletal Mayakashi" is face-up in my Monster Zone, and is unaffected by other cards' effects due to its own effect. In this situation, can I activate "Armory Call" and equip the added Equip Spell to "Gashadokuro, the Skeletal Mayakashi"?
- A: Even if the only face-up monster in your Monster Zone is unaffected by card effects, as in this scenario, you can activate "Armory Call". After adding an Equip Spell from your Deck to your hand, you can also apply the part of the effect that equips that card to a monster on your field. For example, in this situation, if you added "United We Stand" from your Deck to your hand, you can equip it to "Gashadokuro, the Skeletal Mayakashi", but it will not gain any ATK or DEF since it is unaffected.[2][3]
