OCG Rulings
- The effect of this card that prevents Set Spell/Trap Cards on your field from being destroyed by card effects during your opponent's turn is a Continuous Effect.[1]
- The effect of this card that increases its ATK by 800 is a Trigger Effect. (It does not target.)[1]
- This effect must be activated each time a Set card in your Spell & Trap Zone is destroyed by your opponent’s card effect. (It can be activated during the Damage Step.)[1]
- If 2 Set cards in your Spell & Trap Zone are destroyed at the same time by your opponent’s Twin Twisters, the effect of this card only activates once and it only gains 800 ATK.[1]
Q&A Rulings
- Q: "Bearblocker" is face-up in my Monster Zone. During my opponent's turn, if I activate a Set "Vanity's Emptiness", can my opponent chain "Mystical Space Typhoon" and destroy that "Vanity's Emptiness"?
- A: The effect of "Bearblocker" prevents Set cards in your Spell & Trap Zone from being destroyed by card effects, so when you activate a Set card, it can then be destroyed normally by card effects. Therefore, in this scenario, "Vanity's Emptiness" is destroyed by the effect of "Mystical Space Typhoon".[2]
