OCG Rulings

  • [Regarding the effect "The first time this card would be destroyed by an opponent's card effect each turn, it is not destroyed."][1]
    • It is a Continuous Effect that applies in the Monster Zone.
  • [Regarding the effect "Once per opponent's Battle Phase (Quick Effect): You can discard 1 card; this card gains ATK equal to half the total ATK of all other face-up monsters you currently control, then place 1 counter on this card, also your opponent's monsters cannot target monsters for attacks this turn, except this one."][1]
    • It is a Quick Effect that can be activated in the Monster Zone.
    • It can also be activated during the Damage Step, from the start of the Damage Step to before damage calculation.
    • When resolving this effect, this card gains ATK equal to half the total ATK of all other face-up monsters you control. Then, if it gained ATK, place 1 counter on this card. Also when resolving this effect, apply the effect "your opponent's monsters cannot target monsters for attacks this turn, except this one".
    • The effect "your opponent's monsters cannot target monsters for attacks this turn, except this one" will also apply to your opponent's monsters that come to be in your opponent's Monster Zone after it resolves.
  • [Regarding the effect "If this card with a counter is destroyed by battle: Destroy all monsters you control."][1]
    • It is a Trigger Effect.
    • It is mandatory to activate.
    • If this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the GY, it activates in the GY. If it was destroyed by battle and banished face-up, it activates while this card is banished. (It activates wherever it moves to first after being destroyed.)
    • It activates at the end of the Damage Step when this card is destroyed by battle.
