- A: You may target a Fusion / Synchro / Xyz "DDD" monster with the monster effect of "D/D Savant Nikola". In that case, since the target monster is returned to the Extra Deck, not its owner's hand, "place up to 2 face-up "D/D" Pendulum Monsters from your Extra Deck in your Pendulum Zones" is not applied.[1]
