A: The effect of "Elementsaber Makani" that changes its Attribute in the GY is an effect applied to a card(s) in the GY, so if you activate it while the effect of "Necrovalley" is applying, it is negated.

• Q: "Gozen Match" is face-up in my opponent's Spell & Trap Zone, and an "Elementsaber Makani" with the WIND Attribute is face-up in my Monster Zone. In this situation, if I activate the effect of another "Elementsaber Makani" in my Graveyard and make it become an EARTH monster, can I then activate "Monster Reborn" and target that "Elementsaber Makani"?
