OCG Rulings
- This card's effect that negates the activation of a Spell/Trap Card or monster effect is the effect applied by activating this card. (It can be activated during the Damage Step.)[1]
- You can only activate this card if you have a monster other than an Effect Monster face-up in your Monster Zone, which can include a Normal Monster, a Fusion Monster without effects, etc.[1]
- This effect does not target. It is activated by chaining directly to a Spell/Trap Card activation or monster effect activation. (It cannot be chained to the activation of a Spell/Trap effect.)[1]
- This card's effect that Special Summons a non-Effect Monster from your Extra Deck starts a Chain. (It does not target, and can be activated during the Damage Step.)[1]
