OCG Rulings
- This card's effect that adds a "Fortune Lady" monster from your Deck to your hand is the effect applied by activating this card. (It does not target, and you choose whether or not to apply the effect when resolving this card.)[1]

Q&A Rulings
- Q: When a card on my opponent's field is banished by a card effect, I activate the last effect of "Fortune Vision". After the effect is resolved, for which battle is the effect applied?
- A: The effect of "Fortune Vision" will be applied the first time you would take battle damage after resolving its effect that turn. Normally, if you would take battle damage in the first battle, the effect is applied then. But if your opponent's Attack Position monster and your Defense Position monster battle so that you would not take any battle damage, the effect of "Fortune Vision" will be applied during the next battle that would result in you taking battle damage.[2][3]
