Card Rulings:Harpie's Pet Dragon
OCG Rulings
- The effect of "Harpie's Pet Dragon" is a Continuous Effect.[1]
- If the total number of "Harpie Lady" on the field changes, the ATK gained by the effect also changes immediately.[1]
- This card gains 300 ATK for each face-up "Harpie Lady" on either player's field.[1]
- As "Harpie Lady Sisters" is considered to be a different card than "Harpie Lady", it does not count towards the ATK gained by the effect.[1]
- The card name of "Cyber Harpie Lady" is treated as "Harpie Lady". Thus, if "Cyber Harpie Lady" and "Harpie's Pet Dragon" are on the field, then the effect of "Harpie's Pet Dragon" will increase its ATK.[2]
Previously Official Rulings
These TCG rulings were issued by Upper Deck Entertainment and have since been declared unofficial by Konami.[3] They were previously considered official and can still be correct, as long as they follow the official gameplay rules, or unless Konami has issued a ruling that says otherwise.
