Q&A Rulings
- Q: "Macro Cosmos" is face-up in my opponent's Spell & Trap Zone, and its effect that banishes any card that would be sent to the Graveyard is applying. In this situation, when I Normal or Special Summon "Lunalight Emerald Bird", can I activate its effect?
- A: You can activate the effect of "Lunalight Emerald Bird" when it is Normal or Special Summoned even if the effect of "Macro Cosmos" is applying. In that case, the "Lunalight" card that you would send from your hand to the Graveyard is banished instead, and you do not draw a card.[2]
