- Q: When I activate the effect of "Sky Striker Ace - Kaina", my opponent chains "Book of Moon" and changes the targeted monster to face-down Defense Position. In this case, how does the effect resolve?
- A: Even if the targeted monster is in face-down Defense Position when the effect of "Sky Striker Ace - Kaina" resolves, it is applied normally. (Thereafter, even if the targeted monster is flipped face-up again, cannot attack until the end of your opponent's turn.)[2]
- Q: I activated and applied the effect of "Sky Striker Ace - Kaina" to my opponent's "Subterror Behemoth Speleogeist". In this situation, if "Subterror Behemoth Speleogeist" is changed to face-down Defense Position by its own effect, what happens to the applied effect of "Sky Striker Ace - Kaina"?
- A: In this scenario, if the monster that the effect of "Sky Striker Ace - Kaina" was applied to is changed to face-down Defense Position afterward, the effect no longer applies.[3]
