- This card can be searched by "Rainbow Bridge", "Rainbow Bridge of the Heart", "Crystal Master", "Vylon Cube", "Vylon Delta", "Mikanko Rivalry", "Iron Blacksmith Kotetsu", "Hidden Armory", "Armory Call", "Ashoka Pillar", "Noble Knight's Spearholder", "Tool Box", "Infernoble Knight - Roland", "Gearbreed", "Power Tool Dragon", and other generic searchers.
- Even if you draw this card without a Crystal Beast to equip it to, you can simply set it as a bluff. If your opponent destroys it before you draw a Crystal Beast to equip it to, they've wasted a card effect to give you a crystallized Crystal Beast.
- This card goes great with "Magical Hats". Select 2 copies of this card from your deck and set them face down; they will be sent to the Graveyard either by your opponent's monsters or by the effect of Magical Hats, activating their effects.
- You can combo this card with "Emergency Provisions" or "Release Restraint Wave".
- Equip to a "Crystal Beast Amethyst Cat" and deal 1000 points of direct damage every turn.
- If you destroy two "Crystal Release" with the effect of "Kuraz the Light Monarch", you will get two crystallized Crystal Beast and get to draw two cards.
- You will have a good combo by sending two face down "Crystal Release" to special summon "Anteatereatingant", and you will have 2 Crystal Beast in your spell/trap zone.
