• In an "Ogdoadic" Deck, there is a combo in which this card is a fundamental part, where it is possible to have at least a +8 in card advantage. For this combo to work, the opponent must have 4 empty Main Monster Zones, while the player must have "Hieratic Dragon of Eset" in hand and "Nauya, the Ogdoadic Remnant", "Nunu, the Ogdoadic Remnant", and "Keurse, the Ogdoadic Light" in the Graveyard (this can be easily accomplished by cards like "Nauya, the Ogdoadic Remnant" and "Snake Rain").
  1. Normal Summon "Hieratic Dragon of Eset".
  2. Special Summon "Keurse, the Ogdoadic Light" from your Graveyard by Tributing "Hieratic Dragon of Eset".
  3. Special Summon "Nauya, the Ogdoadic Remnant" from your Graveyard with the effect of "Keurse, the Ogdoadic Light"; and Special Summon "Dragon Core Hexer" from your Deck with the effect of "Hieratic Dragon of Eset".
  4. Add "Ogdoadic Water Lily" from your Deck to your hand using the effect of "Nauya, the Ogdoadic Remnant".
  5. Special Summon "Nunu, the Ogdoadic Remnant" from your Graveyard using its own effect.
  6. Xyz Summon "King of the Feral Imps" using "Nunu, the Ogdoadic Remnant" and "Nauya, the Ogdoadic Remnant".
  7. Add "Lightserpent" from your Deck to your hand using the effect of "King of the Feral Imps".
  8. Special Summon "Phantasmal Lord Ultimitl Bishbaalkin" to an Extra Monster Zone using "Dragon Core Hexer" and "Keurse, the Ogdoadic Light".
  9. Special Summon 4 Tokens to each field using the effect of "Phantasmal Lord Ultimitl Bishbaalkin".
  10. Link Summon "Reptilianne Echidna" using "Phantasmal Lord Ultimitl Bishbaalkin" and "King of the Feral Imps".
  11. Add 4 Reptile monsters from your Deck to your hand using the effect of "Reptilianne Echidna" (since the Tokens have 0 ATK). (Do not add "Reptilianne Lamia", as 1 copy needs to remain in the Deck or Graveyard.)
  12. Fill the Graveyard with the Reptiles searched by "Echidna", so that you have at least 5 Reptile monsters with different names in your Graveyard.
  13. Activate "Water Lily", sending "Reptilianne Lamia" to the Graveyard (unless it is already there, in which case any Reptile can be sent), then Special Summon "Reptilianne Lamia".
  14. Synchro Summon "Reptilianne Hydra" using "Reptilianne Lamia" and 4 Tokens.
  • 1. If your opponent controls any monsters other than the Tokens, use the effect of "Reptilianne Lamia" to make their ATK 0.
  1. Use the effect of "Reptilianne Hydra" to destroy all of the Tokens, plus any other monsters whose ATK was changed to 0 by the effect of "Reptilianne Lamia", to draw 4-6 cards.
  • At this point, if the player has copies of "Lightserpent" in the hand, they can be discarded by cards like "Zohah, the Ogdoadic Boundless" and/or "Flogos, the Ogdoadic Boundless", in order to Special Summon themselves from the Graveyard, giving a total of 4 monsters ("Echidna", "Hydra", and 2 "Lightserpents"). They should be Tributed to Special Summon "Aron, the Ogdoadic King" and "Amunessia, the Ogdoadic Queen", whose effects can control the game during the opponent's turn, sniping cards in their hand and disrupting their strategy. This combo starts with a relatively specific but easily achievable set up and ends with having at least 2 monsters on the field, 6 cards in hand and countless Reptiles in the Graveyard.
