why cant you activate the cards chosen by magical hats???

They are only treated as monsters, not spell or trap cards, and therefore do not have their effects applied (note that they are not negated). Zeroblizzard (talk • contribs) 20:32, July 24, 2010 (UTC)Zeroblizzard
