* Ccarayhua (Qaraywa) means lizard in the Quechua language, as it's based on the Lizard geoglyph of the [[Nazca Lines]].

* "[[Black Rose Dragon]]" is the antithesis to this card; "Black Rose" destroys all cards on the field when it's Summoned, where as "Ccarayhua" destroys all cards on the field when it's destroyed.
 
* This card's destruction effect is similar to "[[The Wicked Eraser]]" except "Eraser" can also be ''chosen'' to be destroyed on its own in order to use its ability during either controller's [[Main Phase]].
