• This card's Japanese name, "Superheavy Samurai Waka-O2" (超重武者ワカ－Ｏ２ Chōjūmusha Waka-Oni) is a reference to how Benkei is said to have been nicknamed "Oniwaka" in his youth.
  • Fittingly, this card was used to Tribute Summon "Superheavy Samurai Big Benkei" in the Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V anime.
