Face mask

A face mask is a piece of protective equipment worn to reduce the spread of infection. Such coverings were encouraged during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Some such masks have been sold in the form of Yu-Gi-Oh! merchandise.

OTS sales promotion[edit]

Official tournament stores were given bundles of individually wrapped masks, depicting the Millennium Items, with the intention that they be used as a sales incentive for purchases of Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game sealed products. The recommended distribution rules were:[1]

  • 1 mask given for a purchase of $10
  • 1 mask and 1 OTS Tournament Pack 14 given for a purchase of $15 or more.
  • 1 mask and one of the following options, 1 The Lost Art Promotion card or 2 OTS Tournament Pack 14, given for a purchase of $30 or more.
  • No more than 1 mask per customer

The Virtual Seto Kaiba Challenge[edit]

The Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links fourth anniversary tournament, The Virtual Seto Kaiba Challenge, was hosted from February 11 to 12, 2021. Face masks with the Duel Links logo were included as part of the second-level prize, awarded to the six contestants who got to Duel Virtual Seto Kaiba.[2]

Merchandise website[edit]

The official Yu-Gi-Oh! merchandise website, included a variety of reusable face masks, depicting characters, cards, or logos. These were sold for $15.99
