Say I have two Battlin' Boxer Lead Yoke on the field, one with Battlin' Boxer Glassjaw and the other with Battlin' Boxer Switchitter as Xyz materials and my opponent activates Dark Hole.
- Can I detach a Xyz material for each one of them to protect them from destruction?
- If it is possible, I detach the xyz materials at the same time? and if it does can I use the chain created by Glassjaw in order to bring the detached Switchitter back from the graveyard with the effect of the detached Glassjaw?
The other question is related to Battlin' Boxer Sparrer, if I normal summon Switchitter and bring Glassjaw from the graveyard, then I enter my battle phase and attack with both, then I enter my main phase 2. Can I special summon Sparrer so I can summon Number 16: Shock Master? Jaggo 80 (talk • contribs) 19:01, May 31, 2013 (UTC)
- Forgot that I can't summon other monsters but Battlin' Boxer cause the effect of Switchitter, so instead summon Number 105: Battlin' Boxer Star Cestus. Jaggo 80 (talk • contribs) 22:05, May 31, 2013 (UTC)
The wording on "Sparrer" says "rest of the turn". Technically, you aren't entering battle phase after Main Phase 2, so it should be allowed. If it said "cannot conduct battle phase this turn", then you couldn't. Jet-Black Nova (talk • contribs) 19:09, May 31, 2013 (UTC)
For the first question, you can detach from both Yoke, then you wait for Dark Hole to resolve. After it resolves, you've already missed the timing for Glassjaw and can't activate its effect. 115.127.29.210 (talk) 20:26, May 31, 2013 (UTC)
- Scratch that! You can use both of them, then, after Dark Hole resolves, both Yoke will activate their effects to gain 800 ATK as Chain Link 1 and 2 (per SEGOC since they're Mandatory), then you can chain Glassjaw as Chain Link 3 since it's an Optional Trigger Effect. 115.127.29.210 (talk) 20:38, May 31, 2013 (UTC)
