Forum:Can i play magic cards i have set in the same turn?

If I set mystical space typhoon and my opponent plays dust tornado to destroy it. Can I play MST to destroy another one of his cards? 2irishman2 01:45, September 14, 2009 (UTC)

Dont think so

If its a normal magic card like monster reborn or a field card you can set it and play it later in that same turn. But I think that quick play cards are the exception to this and can not be used in this way the same way a trap card would beSteelfallenangel 04:16, September 14, 2009 (UTC)

• In the turn you set MST you can't activate it. If it's not the turn in which you set MST, you can chain it to destroy one of their cards. You can activate non-Quick spell cards in the turn you set them.--Axgamad 21:10, September 14, 2009 (UTC)

Really , Could I ask once more question.

1.If MST is set and my opponent activate Royal Decree after I just set MST in the same turn. Could I chain MST to destroy Royal Decree?

2.I set MST in the main phase 1 then, my opponent activate Royal Decree . I don't chain MST to Royal Decree this time,when approach the main phase 2, Could I activate MST that I just set in the main phase 1 ? Boom203.131.212.68 15:38, September 21, 2009 (UTC)
