This is a pure Machine type deck minus one monster at the moment. I would like to know if it is at all possible for me to lower the card count down to 40 with out losing to much power. If anyone has any suggestions to making the deck better than what it is, I would love to read them. Thanks for any and all help.

1 sangan to a Shining Angel

since I just found out that you can only have 1 Sangan in your deck I am swapping out my second Sangan to a Shining Angel to make the deck legal

Swapping out a Dark Factory of Mass Production for the trap card Ray of Hope.

Is it even possible to make this a 40 card deck? 24.208.224.131 15:39, 3 January 2009 (UTC)Pyles89

Here's my edit...

remove... a whole bunch of stuff

... add, a whole new strategy.

Monsters: 19 or 23

  • 3 Jade Knight
  • 3 Shining Angel
    • These cards will help you search
  • 1 Cyber Dragon
    • Not needed, but will help you swarm+attack
  • 1 D.D. Warrior Lady
    • Searchable with Shining Angel and will help you remove threats
  • 1 Morphing Jar
    • Needed in most decks that lack or need more draw power
  • 2 V-Tiger Jet
  • 2 W-Wing Catapult
  • 2 X-Head Cannon
  • 2 Y-Dragon Head
  • 2 Z-Metal Tank
  • 3 Honest and 1 Victory Viper XX03 (if possible - either both or none)
    • There was this one epic move made at a SJC involving these cards. A player was up against a Dark Armed Return player who had 4000 LP left, to his 1500. Shining Angel attacked into Dark Armed Dragon, taking 1400 damage, and searching out Victory Viper XX03. He attacks DaD with Victory Viper and activates Honest. He deals 1200 damage and uses Victory Viper's 3rd effect. He special summons an option token with 3500 ATK due to Honest and the token's effect. He attacks directly with the token for game. This is merely for style points, but they're SUPER SPECIAL AWESOME stylish points.

Spells: 9

Traps: 12

  • 3 Beckoning Light
    • Abuses Forced Requisition while loading your hand with lost cards
  • 3 Fiend Comedian
    • Similar to Foolish Burial except that it only works half the time and it's other effect is just as good. Helps you against match-ups that over rely on the Graveyard, such as Lightsworn, Zombies, all DaD variants, you get the idea. It also lets you dump your grave with Monsters you can bring back with Roll Out!, Beckoning Light, Monster Reborn, etc.
  • 2 Forced Requisition
    • Combined with the heavy discard costs of all your VWXYZ fusions, your opponent will be losing two cards for every one of yours.
  • 2 Roll Out!
    • This is your version of Call of the Haunted, sort of.
  • 1 Return from the Different Dimension
  • 1 Torrential Tribute
    • These two cards are too good to pass up.

It's very likely that you won't have all these cards, but just try to use as many as you have and try to fill in the holes with some defensive cards.

thank you

Thanks for the input. This is my first time building a deck that I want to take to a tournament and does not come close to how my normal decks are made.
