i am asking about black rose dragon being protected with forbidden dress when it is special summoned.
a player on dueling network had a xyz monster that negated special summon. i chained with forbidden dress on black rose dragon.
so dos forbidden dress save black rose dragon from a monster effect negating special summoning?
to me black rose dragon has to hit the field for a effect or card that negates its summoning then it is destroyed. its not like you can negate it in mid play. Otokoshiro (talk • contribs) 17:15, November 12, 2012 (UTC)
- you opponent controls a monster that negates summons, i guess it would be Steelswarm Roach. you summon Black Rose Dragon, your opponent negates it with roach, at this point, the monster is still in the Limbo Zone, as it's called, so you cannot chain Forbidden Dress on black rose dragon when it's summon would be negated, because at that point the monster hasn't hit the field yet. hope this helps.D-range (talk • contribs) 18:07, November 12, 2012 (UTC)
