If you have a fire monster on the field and Special Summon Goka, the Pyre of Malice using his effct, can I chian Spiritual Fire Art - Kurenai to tribute the pre-existing monster to deal damage? And if so What will happen to Goka? --Azure Knight-Zeo 18:48, April 24, 2010 (UTC)
- You don't chain to a Summon. You can activate Spiritual Fire Art - Kurenai only after Goka, the Pyre of Malice is Special Summoned successfully. So the chain goes like this:
- Chain Link 1: Goka, the Pyre of Malice's effect (it targets 1 FIRE monster to be destroyed)
- Chain Link 2: Spiritual Fire Art - Kurenai (You tribute 1 FIRE monster for the cost)
- Chain Link 2 resolves: Spiritual Fire Art - Kurenai resolves and inflict damage.
- Chain Link 1 resolves: If Goka, the Pyre of Malice targeted the same FIRE monster then it resolves without effect. If not then it destroys its target.
