If the XYZ summon of a monster like Toadally Awesome is negated by Solemn Warning, can the graveyard effect of "Toadally Awesome" be activated? Since the card text reads that it must be 'sent to the graveyard', is the negated summon going to have any restrictions on graveyard effects?

- If it was worded like "Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon" (If this Xyz Summoned card is sent to the Graveyard), then it wouldn't activate. But the text of Toadally is different (If this card is sent to the Graveyard), so yes, that Graveyard effect of "Toadally Awesome" can be activated even if its Summon is negated. --UltimateKuriboh (talk • contribs) 06:25, November 24, 2016 (UTC)
