If you're going to run Dark Simorgh, you should really focus on the complete Anti-Spell Fragrance Lockdown. Also, I don't see you running very many wind monsters, this will prevent you from reviving Simorgh easily (to revive from the grave, you need one wind and one dark in your hand) I don't quite understand why you're running REDMD or Horus in your deck, Horus is fire, and preventing your opponent's spells is better with the lockdown. And REDMD can't revive Dark Simorgh. The only use I can see is to keep up a heavy beatdown on the opponent. Thorn of RosenYubel 16:04, May 19, 2010 (UTC)

wow you didn't answer ANY of my questions i have more than enough wing monsters for simorgh

  • i NEED help with low level dark monsters
  • and i NEED help with the best way to set up stardust.
  • probably removing horus for armed

and spell fragrance is too slow it would murder my royal decree deck. i need to be able to activate my spells immediatly when needed. what good is a cold wave a turn later i am not making a fragrance deck it's too slow.

  • if anyone could help with the most effective ways to get out stardust and reccomend any lower dark monsters i woudl appreciate it

well, if you run a decent amount of level 4 monsters, Summoner Monk would be useful, I find it one of the best ways to set up a level 8 Synchro as well. level 4, pull a level 4 tuner from your deck and synchro summon. Sangan is also a useful dark type. And Mystic Tomato or Giant Germ can provide field presence while getting darks in the grave.

Spell Fragrance slow? yeah, but it slows the opponent down just as much, AND when you combine it with Dark Simorgh the opponent will be INCAPABLE of setting or useing any spells or traps at all. You shouldn't ever need a Cold Wave, late or otherwise, because if you focus on the lockdown, they won't be able to pull any traps on you until simorgh is removed from the field by battle or monster effect. Giant Trunade is better in this case then cold wave, because Trunade resets the field when you're ready to use Simorgh and Anti-spell Fragrance (no one said you had to activate it before you're ready to summon Simorgh anyway), and leaves them with a hand full of unusable spell/traps. Personally, I would run The Tricky and Dark Resonator seeing as how they both combine into a Stardust and both have their own good effects if you decide not to use them for Simmy. Another thing is you can Instant Fusion into a Darkfire Dragon and synchro with Mist Valley Soldier for a Stardust; both of these are dark and wind respectively. Also, if you're in OCG, you can Instant Fusion into Barox or Alligator's Sword Dragon to Synch with Dark Resonator or Mist Valley Shaman into Stardust; notice again that both are dark and wind respectively (and Sword Dragon has a cool effect)[OCG ONLY, cuz Konami doesn't want to give us Sword Dragon of the Awsomesauce].Also I really don't undertand why you're running Trigon. Theres my take on it, hope it helped. U5h3ra1i 16:32, May 20, 2010 (UTC)

Also forgot to mention, Machina's are a massive douche nowadays cuz they'll break Simmy by ramming a special summoned Fortress into Simmy and just blow it up. Make sure you side against these guys cuz they're running rampant and Fortress is one of the only cards capable of driving through Simmy (like how one would use Exiled force, D.D. Warrior Lady, D.D. Assailant, etc.). Something like System Down and an extra decked Chimeratech Fortress Dragon helps. U5h3ra1i 16:37, May 20, 2010 (UTC)

i am gathering the cards mentioned liek instant fusion and the tricky and such but any other advice would be appreciated Kearowind 21:52, May 25, 2010 (UTC)
