I have this friend who played both Purple and orange light to negate a trap and monster effect , does a monster increasing its attack points like Battlestorm count as a triggered effect does it count , can he play it , I summoned Blackwing Bora when he played that effect , I need to know all the details
- Battlestorm's gaining ATK effect is a continuous effect, not a trigger. So, since it is continuous, it can't be negated by cards like Herald of Purple Light. Also the Special Summon of Bora, is an inherent special summon, which means it doesn't start a chain, so it can't be negated either. ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 04:43, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
