Forum:How black horn of heaven negates special summoning

Ok I played illusionary fusionist and sacrificed my blue eyes white dragon to use it so I could summon blue eyes ultimate dragon and opponent played black horn of heaven. I played Re-Fusion to bring back Blue eyes and opponent said I couldn't doit because of black horn of heaven. Can someone please explain this to me?

• For starters, what card is "Illusionary Fusionist"? Also, a card whose summon is negated can't be brought back with "Re-Fusion" because it wasn't Special Summoned properly. Danny Lilithborne 21:43, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Illusionary fusionist is the ocg name of summoner of illusions. his effect brings out blue eyes ultimate dragon by sacrificing another monster, which I did. And yes summoning was negated but it was destroyed and sent to the graveyard so Re-Fusion should bring it back to the field.

• "Re-Fusion rulings page": You cannot use "Re-Fusion" to Special Summon a Fusion Monster that was Summoned with "Magical Scientist", or otherwise not properly Fusion Summoned. "Black Horn of Heaven" negates summons, so your monster wasn't considered summoned at all, just sent to the graveyard. But even if it wasn't, "Summoner of Illusions" Special Summons, not Fusion Summons, so you couldn't bring it back anyway. Danny Lilithborne 22:00, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

what are the OCG rulings?

• OCG rulings are the same. A Fusion Monster that was not Fusion Summoned that is in the graveyard is not considered properly summoned and cannot be revived. They are Semi-Nomis. Danny Lilithborne 23:29, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Also, Black Horn of Heaven cannot negate a special summon that happens by a different card effect. This is because it does not negate the effect of the monster or any other card, and cannot interrupt that monster's or card's effect. BHoH can only negate Synchro Summons, inherent special summons, like DaD and Cyber Dragon, and Contact Fusion (at I least believe so). Messengerofthedark 03:11, 11 July 2009 (UTC)Messengerofthedark
