Forum:How to use Jenis, Lightsworn Mender to full potential?

Hello! This topic didn't fit in deck discussion or ruling discussion, so I am posting it here.

I currently have a lightsworn deck, it has 26 lightsworn monsters (including judgement dragon) to use full effectiveness, and right now, I have Jenis, Lightsworn mender in the deck. Effect: During the End Phase, if a card(s) was sent from your Deck to the Graveyard by the effect of a "Lightsworn" card this turn, inflict 500 damage to your opponent and gain 500 Life Points.

Now, if you know lightsworn decks, this effect could potentially do a good deal of harm to your opponent.

However, there is one big problem with her; She has a whopping 2100 defense.... but only 300 attack. This complicate things a bit. I have come up with a few solutions, like setting her, and waiting for her to be attacked, but the biggest problem with this is that the opponent will probably wait until he/she gets a higher attack monster (i.e 3000 attack) to attack this card.

Another solution to this effect is using cards like honest, which can increase it's attack, or shining angel, but shining angel special summons it in attack and is a waste of space for much else, and honest is limited and will likely never make it to the hand, and is situational if it does go into effect.

So what do I do? How can I summon this card with less pain? Any suggestions are welcomed and encouraged.ScarletViper (talk • contribs) 15:52, May 30, 2014 (UTC)
