Forum:Is it worth buying Hidden Arsenal?

i only like ice barrier or flamvell with 3 synchro summon (ally of justice, Catastor, Mist Wurm, and Ice Barrier Dragon, Brionac but is it hard to get it or just too easy? tell me your reason to buy or not *im not telling you if i get lucky to good cards never had a luck with boosters) plus other questions which is better boosters? Crossroad of Chaos or Crimson Crisis?

konami short printed mist wurm brionac and catastor so you only get 1 maybe two of each in a booster box check the cards trivia

I had very high expectatives on this one, but then I realised this is nothing but a glorified reprint of Synchro Awakening!!, just without the reprints (that doesn't explain why ngthey included X-Saber Urbellum though), I still hoped Brionac was easier to get, but with the short print thing I just give up on it (that just confirms this is really the rich man's game), yet Blizzed and Urquizas are worth a try.HouseholdCatDeity 18:02, November 14, 2009 (UTC)

i brought it for 5 boosters

i did get mist wurm,ice barrier dragon brioncai, and flamvell uquiru but no ally of justice catastor :[

At least one box, but no more than two. On the tenth (the day it was released wher I'm at), I bought only ONE box, and I ended up pulling TWO Brionic AND two Catastor. I didn't get Mist Wurm, but I'd take two of the other Synchro's over that one anytime. Plus the super rares are not that bad, with the exception of the Mist Valley cards which are all crap except the Soldier. Well I bought my first blister and pulled Brionac out of the first pack (only other cards of notice were Flamvell Uruquizas and Flamvell Magician) so... either I got really lucky or the chase cards are easier to pull than everyone predicted. Let's see 13 secret rares in the set,3 chase secret rares (Brionac, Mist Worm, and Catastor) in the set, 1 secret rare per pack, 4 packs per blister, 24 packs per box. So that means you have a 3 in 13 chance to pull a chase card per pack, 12 in 52 chance to pull a chase card out of a blister, and a 72 in 312 per box. If my math is correct then I'd have to say yes as long as you're buying 2 or more blisters. Monarch1 03:53, November 16, 2009 (UTC)

My team and bought 2 boxes to find that catastor/bronic and mist wurm, were all pretty much short print. we only pulled 2 bronic, 2 mist wurm, 3 catastor...its sad but true.

Chase Secret Rare?

• A chase card is just a card or cards that most people want out of a set. For example, Dark Armed Dragon out of Phantom Darkness, Judgment Dragon and Honest out of Light of Destruction, ect. Just cards that people want the most, and Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier, Ally of Justice Catastor, and Mist Wurm just happen to be the chase cards out of Hidden Arsenal. --Sky Scourge God 17:39, November 16, 2009 (UTC)

it depends.

If you play to win, Catastor is worth the packs (I got one in my first pack. Too bad I don't intend to use it.) If your a collector, it's a must have, since it's the only place you'll get the cards. If you just play for fun, it might be a good idea to just skip this, unless you want to play a new archetype.Land of dogs 22:47, November 16, 2009 (UTC)

Well I just got two packs and it seems Catastor,Brionnac and Mist Wurm are all too random to have them for sure, so far my provider hasn't found any, and he's opened a lot of packs, with this all can I say is have fun looking for the chase cards, you can get them even if you just buy a pack or two from time to time.
