does dust tornado, chain to royal decree when activated? after that chain, can any trap card be also chained like ceasefire etc..? why cant you chain normal trap cards to jinzo when it's successfully summoned?

im not sure but i think you can chain dust tornado when royal decree was activated since they are both in spell speed 2 but other normal trap cards can`t be activated unless it destroy your royal decree -- james91190 05:31, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Traps are Spell Speed 2, not Spell Speed 1. You can't chain Traps to Royal Decree because when the card is flipped, its effect is active immediately because of the phrasing of the card ("While this card is face-up on the field...". You can't chain Normal Traps to Jinzo's summoning because a summon is not something you can chain to. Danny Lilithborne 08:17, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
No, that's wrong. You can still chain things like Dust Tornado to Royal Decree, in the same way that you can counter Royal Decree with counter traps such as Dark Bribe. Until its chain link resolves, Royal Decree's effect is not applied. As for Jinzo, you need to remember that Jinzo's effect is Continuous, and thus faster than cards of any Spell Speed. From the moment he hits the field, traps are negated, and most normal traps - including Bottomless Trap Hole, Torrential Tribute, and Raigeki Break - can't activate until Jinzo hits the field; they are chained AFTER he is successfully summoned. The only traps that work are those that specifically say they "negate" the summon, such as Solemn Judgment and Forced Back, as those prevent Jinzo from ever actually hitting the field, and thus can't be negated by his effect.--Crab Helmet 14:22, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

So does this mean if my opponent activates Royal Decree, i cannot activate Waboku in chain to it??

You can chain "Waboku" to "Royal Decree", in the same way that you can chain "Dust Tornado" to "Royal Decree". "Waboku" will resolve first, then "Royal Decree". Since "Waboku" has already resolved, it is not affected by "Royal Decree", and is not negated. --Deus Ex Machina 20:47, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

And RD can be chained to another trap to negate it's effect? Zeek Aran 20:53, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
