Just to make sure, if you special summon a monster, by the means of a monster card effect or trap/quick-play magic, during your own battle phase, can that monster declare an attack in that same battle phase it was summoned in?

If you have something like a pyramid turtle and your opponent has, say horus the black flame dragon lv 6
you can legally run pyramid turtle into horus then search your deck for a ryu kokki and then attack horus in the same battle phase with ryu.
As long as the card does not specifically say "summon the monster at the end of the battle phase" like Glad Beasts or Twin Headed Behemoth than they can attack in the same battle phase. Kearowind (talk • contribs) 20:02, July 13, 2010 (UTC)
