I've been hearing a lot on how Graydle monsters work well with Kaiju cards. But I'm having trouble seeing the strategy behind it. Kaijus need monsters on your opponent's side in order to summon them on their side. If Graydles change control of an opponent's monsters, how can you summon the kaijus? Also, even if you use Graydles to take back a Kaiju you summoned, wouldn't that Kaiju get destroyed anyway, since you can only have 1 kaiju out at a time? I really like the Kaiju, they remind me of watching Godzilla movies as a kid, but I just can't seem to understand the strategy here.

- Special Summon a "Kaiju" monster to your opponent's side of the field, then ram any "Graydle" monster into it (other than "Graydle Slime") to take immediate control of it.
- A good first turn combo is activating "Kyoutou Waterfront", then Normal Summoning/Setting "Graydle Alligator". Then activate "Interrupted Kaiju Slumber" and Special Summon any 2 "Kaiju" monsters of your choice. (The Spell and "Graydle" monster going to the Graveyard generates 2 counters.) Now the effect of "Graydle Alligator" activates, taking control of your opponent's Kaiju. But because of the "only control 1" clause, that Kaiju will be destroyed once it switches control. (The "Kaiju" and "Graydle" monsters generate 2 more counters.) Now your Field Spell has 4 counters, and you can use its effect to add another "Kaiju" monster to your hand. --UltimateKuriboh (talk • contribs) 00:27, January 18, 2016 (UTC)
I see now. That does seem like a nice combo. I am such a noob. Lol. Interrupted Kaiju Slumber? Never heard of that card, sounds like a really good one.
