Forum:Lightlord deck

I am very interested in makeing (making? i mate spelllings) a lightlord deck, but i can't think of any way to get around the horridly useful side effect. The best thing i could think of was return cards from the grave to the deck but most of those kinds of cards are limited or banned for tournament play...

so any suggestions?

Skill Drain! =D And "making" is the correct way to spell it. I really dislike these cards. If they didn't have the discarding from your deck effects, I think they'd be better. If I used two or more of these in previous duels, I might have decked myself numerous times. Zeek Aran 03:55, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Use Pot of Avarice,Beckoning Light and Monster Reincarnation. They are Unlimited. Then you can quickly special summon Judgment Dragun218.254.122.68 12:41, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

If you run Traditional Format, then Exchange of the Spirit could be a last resort card. Odds are there are Lightlord monsters in the Graveyard that you don't want to return (because they either boost the ATK of Lightlord Dragon Gragonis or are needed to summon Judgment Dragun), so it would have to be used if you're going to Deck Out 90.192.58.231 19:48, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Do all of that AND add more than 40 cards to your deck. Some would consider that a disadvantage, but if you look at it, the fact is that if you put the bare minimum cards you need for a deck, you have a greater chance of losing your best cards. If you have more than the required cards, like say 50 or 60 cards, you decrease the chances of losing your ace cards. You will also decrease your chances of losing cards like pot of avarice and transmigration prophecy so you can return the cards you lose.
